For the last 40 years Mark McNab, the licensed contractor and principal builder of MBI, has had broad experience ranging from design and building of custom homes and commercial structures to extensive experience in fire, flood, wind and structural- failure mitigation and remediation work. MBI’s strong desire for satisfied clients and producing an excellent product keeps them on the cutting edge of quality performance and the pursuit of innovative design and hard- to- find solutions. Twenty four years ago Mark began a dedicated pursuit of excellence in insurance and structural mitigation and remediation construction. Included in MBI’s mitigation experience is water damage, starting at first-level water and up to black water, involving mold and asbestos abatement and encapsulation. Fire and wind damage have also been a large part of Mark’s experience in the mitigation industry including both small and large structural projects.
 

Fifteen years ago Foundation and Structural Failures and Code Infractions began to fit in with the mitigation work already in operation, and has now become an integral part of MBI’s activities. With MBI’s design and engineering capabilities, difficult redesign and reconstruction projects are resolved and completed in a timely manner to meet what are often short notice deadlines and technical requirements.
 

For over 30 years Mark and Pat McNab have been working as a team micro designing custom homes from the first foot- print until the last piece of furniture is in place. Their Colorado Springs parade home built and shown in 2007 swept all eight awards in its category. Upscale Vintage and “Period Design” are their specialties along with interior designs including British Colonial, South African and more.
